Pixiu is a talisman of the greatest importance, seen as an omen to all; its role as protector can be ob-served in its posture, proudly erect with its head held high. Traditionally made of jade or wood, Pixiu is now revealed in a Baccarat crystal, through the alchemy of joy. To bring this crystal dragon to life, two Meilleurs Ouvriers de France and a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres combined their talents. As Pixiu is the guardian of fortune, the gilders at the Baccarat factory coated this creation in twenty-carat gold, highlighting its contours and accentuating its wings.
